ST. PETERSBURG — Buoyed by the success of its first condo tower in downtown St. Petersburg, the Kolter Group is expected to start taking reservations early next week for units in its newest project — Saltaire, a tower on First Street S next to the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront.
Saltaire is expected to rise about 35 stories and have seven residences per floor ranging from about 1,600 to 2,700 square feet in two- and three-bedroom plans. There will be four penthouses averaging 6,000 square feet. A pool, fitness center and club room will be on level seven with views east toward the bay. Each residence will have two private parking spaces and the building will have 24/7 valet.
Groundbreaking for Saltaire is expected to start late this year and projected completion will be in 2022. Kolter developed ONE St. Petersburg, a 41-story tower that is the tallest building on Florida’s west coast. All 253 condos sold months before the tower was finished late last year, and some have since resold for as much as 40 percent more than the original price.
